- About the Society
Society for Sexual Education Treatment and Research (CETAD) was founded in 1998 by 11 psychiatrists and psychologists working in the field of sexuality. The purpose of our Association which today has 130 members, could be summarized in this way: to establish coordination among professionals from different disciplines working in the area of sexuality, to give education on the subject of health professionals' sexual therapies, to ensure sexual therapy is being done in a manner appropriate to scientific standards and rules of ethic, and to contribute to the sexual education of the community.

- Turkish Psychiatry Association and CETAD joint pres announcement /March 5th 2006: We see that from the stories of those with mental problems and the announcements in the press, in the treatment of those with mental problems, approaches that is discrepant to the professional ethics, and implementations that have no remedial effect exist and these are used for advertising purposes. Our objective in this announcement is to contribute to the provision of executing our profession in sexual treatment appropriate to the Scientific and ethical Standard. Continued »
